For the first episode of The Weekly, Rebecca Alley and Kate Cough spoke with Maine’s Secretary of State Shenna Bellows, the first woman to hold the job, who also happens to be a 1993 Ellsworth High School graduate. We talked with Secretary Bellows about the processes that are in place to maintain our state’s election security, voting legislation in the works and the several duties overseen by her department.
